Achievements within the Schlumberger Group included the design, negotiation, financial planning, logistics management, construction management commissioning and subsequent operational management of the onshore operations base for DS in Saudi Arabia: Market Share from 20% to 65% in two years and Profitability from 38% net to 62%. He was subsequently posted to the North Sea where he radically reorganized operations achieving an increased market share from 27% to 63% and drove profitability from 32% to 57%.

He has lectured at over seventy five international oil companies, government agencies and universities regarding project management, oil & gas reservoir evaluation, exploration, oil reservoir remediation, logistics and production sectors as well as renewable and alternative energy development and project funding.

Within David’s own corporations he has developed the largest scientific support laboratory second only to Shell Petroleum in the North Sea to develop and support innovative mechanical and chemical treatments to ensure maximum recovery of reserves from onshore and offshore oil and gas reservoirs. His companies have successfully delivered logistics, technical, personnel, technology, materials and management support to projects from the largest offshore structures in the world for TOTAL to developing; research, development and manufacturing programs for renewable energy biomass gasification systems in China and the former Eastern Block. His companies have delivered the most challenging logistics solutions to both offshore and onshore multi billion dollar projects through air, sea and land transportation.

Developing a clear understanding of the world’s finite limitation to deliver Fossil Fuels at the levels extracted over the years David has turned his expertise and vision to developing renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions in the early 90’s. This has most recently lead to a focus on developing renewable energy generating assets globally through Global Green Power PLC (“GGP”).

David has worked extensively within the Asian Renewable Energy market advising on Wind, Solar and Biomass projects and is a Director and shareholder of Hefei Tianyan Green Energy development Co Ltd of China. The company has implemented over forty small-sized biomass to energy projects from 500 KWe to 6 MWe each for energy generation throughout China.

GGP is tasked to aggressively deploy efficient renewable energy technology globally within the Biomass, Wind, Solar, Geothermal and Hydro industries. GGP is currently focused upon the development of Biomass to Energy projects within Asia with their first seven projects that range from 17.5 MWe to 35 MWe now being delivered to the Philippines.
