The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has approved the Grid Impact Study (GIS) for interconnection of upto 35 MW of Green Power Panay Philippine Inc. biomass power to the Visayas and Luzon Grid Systems.

The GIS was prepared by NGCP's Visayas System Planning Division and the Transmission Planning Department in cooperation with Green Power Panay Philippines Inc and Global Green Power PLC Corporation. The GIS report enables Green Power Panay Philippines Inc. (GPPPI) to interconnect with the Visayas and Luzon Grid Systems through the ILECO 11 Grid System where GPPPI is embeded.
