20 SEPTEMBER 2011 - Green Power Bukidnon Philippines Inc., complete the purchase of 7.6 Hectares of land for the construction of the GPBPI 35 MW Biomass Power Plant in Maramag, Bukidnon in Mindanao.

The biomass power plant which recieved Environmental Compliance Certification (ECC) in August 2011 is paving the way to provide an increased energy mix to the Mindanao Grid. The project is located adjacent to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) main switchyard for the region and within the ceter of some of the most intensive agricultural farming within the Philippines.
